The apartment is located on the eighth floor of a new building, overlooking Tel Aviv’s singular pink-roofed urban landscape, with Jaffa and the sea just beyond.
The planning expresses the owners’ desire to enhance the feeling of openness produced by the view and let it flow through the apartment. A central line, crossing the entire apartment, connects all the apartment’s functional areas along its length in an open space, without walls or screens. It ends in the master bedroom suite, which was also planned to permit a view of the entire length of the home and is characterized by a sense of space. The design of the free-standing island with its sinks in the bedroom highlights the theme that no function is shielded, even in the more private areas
