The layout of the grounds determined the rectangular shape of the house.
The desire to plan a house that was not influenced by traditional family models was the main motif that guided my design of this home as a kind of New York loft: with few walls and partitions, a high ceiling with wide openings providing a sense of open space. At the same time, the exterior spaces – the garden and the unique, rural moshav surroundings – are integrated as an essential part of the house’s space. Enveloped by public and private space, the kitchen serves as the home’s central axis and provides a base for the open gallery above, where the master bedroom suite is located and from where everything happening inside and outside the house can be observed
